FACEWORKS LTD.
Who are Faceworks Ltd.?
Among Famalco Group’s diverse range of represented companies, one may find the exciting, excavation and demolition specialist company known as Faceworks Ltd. Although one of Famalco’s youngest members since beginning operations under the parent company in August 2008, Faceworks Ltd. has established a well-earned name for itself within the Industry.
The company offers an extremely reliable service thanks to their committed staff and state-of-the-art equipment. In fact, when first starting out, Faceworks made a bold decision and invested in new and innovative equipment rather than use second-hand and less costly ones, even though the market was at the verge of saturation at the time. The company’s equipment consists of Trenchers, Excavators (such as the gigantic Case Excavator 1121F), Dumping Trucks, Bucket Crushers and other equipment which weigh up to 49 tonnes. This array of equipment not only allows for optimal performance and practicality, but also sets Faceworks apart, as it boasts one of the largest fleets in the country within the excavation and demolition industry. Since the company only invests in high-end equipment, Faceworks guarantees the latest technology, safety on the workplace, reduction of excessive noise levels and the most effective eco-friendly service as possible.
Given that the company has only been operating for 10 years, Faceworks Ltd. proudly showcases an impressive portfolio of work. These projects range from excavation works on Hyundai and Fiat showrooms, works on Mercury House in Paceville to the excavation of old factories, lands for apartments and the excavation and conversation of a quarry in Siggiewi. The company is also responsible for refurbishments on petrol service stations such in Bir id-Deheb and in Marsascala.
Mr. Hermann Mallia, the Director and Co-Founder of Faceworks’ parent company, Famalco Group, happily said that the company aims at proving the best service possible. “Faceworks wishes to become a household name when it comes to excavation and demolition”, says Mr. Mallia, a dream which is quickly being realised given the company’s ever-growing popularity on the island. The company’s success is also subject to its hard-working employees who are dedicated in providing the best possible service to their clients. The company appreciates its employees’ hard-work and invests in them by means of training programmes on equipment handling and overall workplace safety. As a result, Faceworks’ employees feel appreciated by the company. In fact, Mr. Cleaven Fenech, who has been working for the company for the past 2 years said, “Now that I joined Faceworks, I don’t see myself anywhere else”. He continued that Faceworks’ Director and Famalco’s youngest Co-Founder, Mr. Etienne Mallia, is one of the most respectful people he has ever met, who instantly believed in Mr. Fenech’s capabilities and provided him with limitless opportunities.
Among the array of services Faceworks provides are Land Clearing, Well Excavation, Waste Management, Trenching, Excavation and Demolition. Faceworks also offers Recycling Services of inert waste material in their Quarry in Siggiewi. Given these array of services and the company’s history in a short period of time, it comes to no surprise that Faceworks will continue to thrive for many years to come.
