Mr. Hermann Mallia, one of the directors of Famalco Group, has been appointed as Honorary Consul for Pakistan in Malta after his nomination by the Government of Pakistan was formally accepted by H.E. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, President of the Republic of Malta.
Mr. Mallia belongs to a prominent business family of Malta and has accepted the honorary position to work for promotion of bilateral relations between both countries.

During a meeting with His Excellency Zaheer Pervaiz Khan, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malta, based in Tunis, Mr. Hermann Mallia explained as to how the two countries can benefit from the synergies that can be established in the commercial, social and cultural ties of both countries. On his part, Mr. Mallia reiterated his commitment in promoting the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in all spheres, especially trade and investment, and making himself available at all times to assist any Pakistani citizens residing or visiting the Maltese Islands.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malta thanked Mr. Mallia for accepting this position and appreciated his vision for further consolidating the friendly ties between Pakistan and Malta.
