SsangYong sponsor Fgura football team

Famalco Group are proud to announce another sponsorship initiative with Fgura United football team. SsangYong followed Domino’s Malta’s lead, where a partnership brokered between the club and the car manufacturer will see the SsangYong logo printed on both the official gear of the club, as well as their nursery kits.

Subsequently, after a meeting between the two parties, the sponsorship was happily confirmed. Employees of the group escorted Fgura United representatives to the SsangYong showroom in Attard, in which they all happily posed for a picture with the new kit. Kids of the nursery were also invited to view the range of vehicles manufactured by SsangYong, as well as sit in the driver seats and take pictures.

Both SsangYong and Famalco Group have on numerous occasions sought the opportunity to invest in locals and Maltese associations, keeping Malta’s success firmly at the forefront. This philosophy of giving back was enforced by Fgura United. Following the sponsorship the football team has taken it upon themselves to raise €9,000 for Puttinu Cares through a 50 hour football marathon, as well as having the Fgura United Capitan present a separate donation to one of their biggest young fans Kane, to assist him in medical aid.

Famalco group’s Co-Founder and Director Hermann Mallia states that “Famalco, Domino’s and SsangYong are all thrilled to be able to sponsor Fgura United. Sport is a passion of ours, and helping a local team in their efforts gives us great satisfaction”.

Famalco Group are hoping the sponsorship will serve to help the club thrive by continually maintaining their accomplishments in football, whilst also paving the way for younger generations to enjoy the beautiful game.
