Davidson and Louie Netz in Milwaukee for the Daytona Bike Week rally at Daytona Beach in 1988 and 1989. Tinkering and improvements on the design throughout the years that followed successfully gave the Fat Bob one of the most unique and indefinable looks of a generation. Hollywood producers impressed by the raw nature and spirit of the bike, proudly took the Fat Bob in their blockbuster movies and most acclaimed series, such as Terminator, Sons of Anarchy, Wild Hogs and CSI: Miami, creating the planned brand association with its target audience.

Strapped in with the standard-issue Milwaukee-Eight 107, the Fat Bob delivers its power steadily throughout the entire rev range system, boasting an impressive 107 pound-feet of peak torque at 3,500 rpm (and even more from the upgraded and available M-8 114 engine). An impressive 28-degree steering-head angle as well as a compact 63.6-inch wheelbase allow the motorcycle to easily cut through tight corners, while its inverted 43mm Showa Dual Bending Valve fork increases steadiness as it reduces weight for a more composed and comfortable ride.
