UNIQUE HARLEY DAVIDSON® GENERATES 13,000 RAYS OF HOPE

Gone under the hammer for €13,000, the world exclusive Harley-Davidson Street^® 750 made unique by the autographs of three top executives at Harley-Davidson, Inc., has found a new home at proud owner Victoria Cutajar.  The winning bid was submitted on 26^th December just two minutes before the strike of 10pm during l-Istrina charity marathon.

This was the culmination of a very intense two month marketing and PR campaign which saw the use of all forms of media being used to promote the Harley of Hope Malta 2015. The intensive marketing campaign consisted of commercials featured on renowned local television stations, full page adverts and press releases published on Malta’s top newspapers, adverts on social media, weekly informative e-newsletters, and distribution of stickers with the final objective to increase awareness and all proceeds going for a good cause.

The Harley of Hope campaign was unveiled on Saturday 14^th November by Mr. Edgar Preca on behalf of Her Excellency Ms Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, where the unique bike was donated by Fapi Motors Ltd. directors to be auctioned online with the winning bid going to the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Ms Cutajar learned about the Harley of Hope campaign from social media and was determined to become the lucky owner of the exclusive Harley-Davidson Street^® 750 knowing that the winning bid was going for a good cause. Ms. Cutajar added that she and her husband are very familiar with the Harley-Davidson^® brand and always wanted to own one, thus the Harley of Hope was the perfect opportunity to make their dream come true. Victoria remarked that she is very looking forward to stroll around the Maltese Islands with this one of a kind bike and start this new and exciting journey.
