The Korean Automaker SsangYong Motor will be unveiling the highly anticipated it’s all-new Korando at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show between the 7th and 17th of March. This international event is one of the world’s largest motor shows and has grown phenomenally since its start in 1905. Since then, the Geneva International Motor Show has become one of the most well-known and most popular motor shows in Europe.

The Korando name was first introduced to the Korean public in 1983, and although the original model had undergone drastic aesthetic and design changes over the years, the good reputation garnered by the Korando brand name has continuously thrived till the present day.

This 4th generation model to carry the name Korando, is an all-new SUV following on the SIV-2 (Smart Interface Vehicle) design concept first seen three years ago at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016. With the concept of ‘Dynamic Motion’ in mind, the completely revised 2019 Korando will feature an all new contemporary exterior design. SsangYong aims to maximise the vehicle’s robust character through its distinctive new grille and headlight treatment at its front.

The 2019 model will boast of a spacious interior and of a premium quality feel, providing better head-room and rear seat space along with sophisticated high-tech technologies such as enhanced driver assistance, safety systems and state-of-the-art connectivity. Engineers at SsangYong developed the vehicle with a high attention towards driver-focus. The new model comes with a range of features such as 8” smart audio, a four-way adjustable driver seat with lumber support for comfort and a 9” full-colour LCD cluster with dual navigation in order to comfortably provide all necessary information.
